MS Project vs Primavera P6
For those out there who are wondering what the best project management course for them may be, it is important that they understand the limitations of MS Project. For instance, MS Project doesn’t allow multiple users to work on a single project where Primavera P6 does. Furthermore, Primavera P6 is a more advanced software, which does give it more functionality, however, many construction managers still prefer to work with MS Project because of this.
Primavera P6 is commonly used across large mining, oil, and gas corporations and has the ability to manage up to 100,000 activities. This means that Primavera P6 will allow you to manage mega projects whereas MS Project will not. In addition to all of this, our course options are available Australia wide as we deliver Primavera P6 face to face in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Why is Primavera P6 delivered in person?
We have found that the fastest and most effective way to learn is face to face. This way, it only takes two days to become a pro and students can ask as many questions as they need.
Primavera P6 PPM vs Primavera P6 EPPM – What is the difference?
P6 PPM is a stand-alone application that you are able to load on your computer. This option makes it a lot quicker and easier to create and save schedule changes. EPPM is a web-based/cloud solution and can be accessed online. While this is still a valid solution, it can take longer to save any desired changes.
